“I’ve spent every waking hour of my life since I was about fifteen obsessing over photography, honing my craft. Between a darkroom I built in the basement of my parents house and the labs of the worlds most prestigious art school, I’ve shot and processed thousands of rolls of film and terabytes of digital images. I have a fascination with both the mundane and the wild, having begun my career creating landscapes and transitioned to focus largely on music and nightlife. After years working In camera sales, I’d say I know my equipment better than some ninety five percent of working photographers. I work faster and better than them too, just ask my clients. I am known to deliver a few dozen polished edits the same night of a concert, and still make it to the after party. No stimulants are involved either, just highly concentrated experience, youthful optimism and a desire to do the best. That is me, Alex Olesky.”
